QueensCzar248 Posted March 26, 2010 Share #176 Posted March 26, 2010 They should throw the old M on there for nostalgia, like their other New Haven friends!
TheKorean Posted March 26, 2010 Share #177 Posted March 26, 2010 Penn Station can have trains running on catenary? Because when I took NJ Transit I think it went from 3rd rail to catenary.

Is it me, or is that logo way too big on that m8. P.S. I found that video by fanning MNRR on Facebook. If anyone was curious.

m7zanr160s Posted March 27, 2010 Share #182 Posted March 27, 2010 It's March, shouldn't they have like 20+ cars by now?
Myrtle Local Posted March 27, 2010 Share #183 Posted March 27, 2010 Penn Station can have trains running on catenary? Because when I took NJ Transit I think it went from 3rd rail to catenary. All tracks in Penn Station have both catenary and 3rd rail, except C Yard and the leads to West Side Yard (3rd rail only)
M3 Express Posted March 27, 2010 Share #184 Posted March 27, 2010 It's March, shouldn't they have like 20+ cars by now? Not really, it hasn't gone to full production yet. They are simply testing to look for bugs.
TheKorean Posted March 28, 2010 Share #185 Posted March 28, 2010 All tracks in Penn Station have both catenary and 3rd rail, except C Yard and the leads to West Side Yard (3rd rail only) I am guessing C Yard is where the LIRR are at.

beelinefan Posted May 4, 2010 Share #188 Posted May 4, 2010 Per the topic on rr.net all four test pairs are in New Haven.
Takuma Ishizeki Posted May 4, 2010 Share #189 Posted May 4, 2010 Huh? Can anyone answer this? I am asking this because M7A's A (even numbered) cars face Grand Central, while all others' A cars (not everything, though) face the other way. It is not like Long Island Rail Road, which all EMU's A cars face Long Island. It faces either Grand Central or Connecticut, and I am looking for the answer of either one of the choices.
