Brighton Local

The Flushing Local

Recommended Posts

What a dreary day it was on the Flushing on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Some of these shots, I just want to state now, that I tried grabbing the trains with the Midtown/Citicorp Tower backdrop; hence resulting in, some of the shots may look early or too late as the train enters or leave the area I positioned myself in.

*For the record, because of construction, all (7) trains ran local in both directions, for its entirety.*

Good photos you shot Zach especially photos 3 & 9. You should already know what I'm thinking. Keep up the fine work.

Led, the Red lit indicated LCL sign on the front of the train.

Thanks Boys, I appreciate the input, and Harry, I know what your thinking.;)

Fine pictures of the Flushing line. I myself have not seen the LED indicators on the (7) yet. I probably haven't been on the Flushing in about 15 years.

I gotta agree with TransitGuy, those LED's are a distraction/detraction. In that they detract from the nice clean look of the car

Very Nice photos. But they really need to move the LCL/EXP led's up more. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I agree, they also should have made them thicker.

A little present to this thread, this diamond that leads to the Corona Yards.

I have yet to do a diamond but I heard they are a pain to do.

This one was built in the Linden Shop.

That diamond crossing looks great!

Great shot. I love the fact that this forum has a few TA workers.

Gives us regular Joe's a lot of information and insight.

Thanks for the pic

Paul
