Does anyone know what's going on with the 8733-8737 5-car set?

Today and last Thursday, I've seen it running OOS, with a bunch of TA employees scattered throughout the cars, to 36th St where it just stops on the express track. I think it's right ahead of the 9:58AM out of Coney Island, if the time helps in answering my question. Thanks.
