The R160A whine sound

The R160A whining sound is starting to get to me I think. In the begining I was able to ignore it. Now, I just can't ignore it and that's all I hear. It takes at least 20 minutes into the ride for my ears to stop hearing it. I don't know, I might be paying too much attention to it. This could be a rant but take it how ever you want.

I guess I don't hear it like you in the body of the car. I can't realy hear it in th cab, and for that matter it does bother me since I use the R143's sounds to hear how fast I am going.

I always thought the train would whine only while accelerating. Today I realized that it whines even when the train is cruising.

Maybe you just like the cars so much, that you are unintentionally more in tune to them, and is just absorbing the newness.

Because they are well maintained by Concourse and Coney Island (sans the dirty look of the Coney Island Cars).
