Amtrak7 Posted October 30, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 30, 2009 Apparently, the MTA has put notices for station agents in the public service advisory system. Examples: Attn Agents: Look under the "Subway Detours-Posters" folder for additional info. Effective now through mid-December 2009, MTA Staten Island Railway (SIR) advises customers to allow extra travel time as trains may need to move at slower speeds due to fallen leaves on the tracks. Attn Agents: Customer brochure is available in the 'Subway Detours-Posters' folder. No trains between Jay St and Utica Av Free shuttle buses provide alternate service No trains running Weekend, 11:30 PM Fri to 5 AM Mon, Nov 6 - 9 The last one goes on to list the bus stops, the PDF brochures that were there for a few major advisories are now gone. Could any of the station agents on this board explain what is going on?
