On Sunday, I looked out of my window and happened to see the barge coming back, after a long absence:

Good thing that I have a bird's-eye view of the Harlem River and 207th Street Yard directly from my window.:P

I'm hoping that barge gets reefed real soon! Lol

This means that the R42s at Jamaica are gonnesville for sure. But I haven't heard of any new R160s entering service yet.

When the barge comes it doesn't take older trains out of service right before it comes. Trains are taken OOS and spend at least a week being moved and prepared for reefing. So the R42's still have more time left.

I remember they had R38s at grand concourse yard for like a few months and now gone.. Did they reef em?

Yeah, those R38s that you saw at Concourse since March disappeared in September because from what i heard, some T/O ran his mouth about em and now they're gone.
