By looking at some pics, Triboro Coach GMC RTS #736 was used on the QM12 express route. I cannot believe they would use a hard-seated RTS on an express route that mostly consisted of MCI Classics and Orion V CNGs. Here are some pics for proof.

I've heard of RTSs and Orion Vs being used for Express runs and MCIs for local runs. It may be true, I'm not entirely sure.

Your answer is accurate IRg ,I remember doing (B)ayside with A couple of RTS's from (6)ave and the look on the peeps faces was priceless;)(K)<R>

I know (2) ops that do local and sometimes they take that Hard seater with em to do their (T)ripper ((C)(N)(G))

I've seen several 985x on the QM1A this past summer, that ride must have been painful.

IIRC, 736 was one RTS which ran well so it was on the QM12 a lot. I have also seen that bus on the Q39 a few times.

Phil, JBL had some RTSs on the QM21 as well as soft seat MCI Classics.

Before Jamaica Bus line was taken over by the MTA they only had MCI Classics and RTS buses. Every other QM21 trip was a RTS since the MCI's weren't ADA compliant.

I used to see those RTSs all the time, I live along the QM21 (I think the 3rd stop).

In the case of 736, that was also because a specific driver always requested that bus.
