Bracamonte Posted November 5, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 5, 2009 7176 is no longer on the roster list. Only 7178, 7181, and 7183 remain in LGA. These buses are going fast. What's replacing them? I miss 7176 because it was the only bus that still had one of the orange back lights working.
Q25toJamaica Posted November 5, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 5, 2009 7183 is retired, 7178 is the ugly whiteback, and 7181 is the wack bus because IIRC it does not have the holes where the orange back lights were
T J Trainman Posted November 5, 2009 Share #3 Posted November 5, 2009 7178 may be next to go. All 30 NGs are in and they still need replacements. SMH.

Grand Concourse Posted November 6, 2009 Share #5 Posted November 6, 2009 I hope they aren't going to be scrapped right away. They should keep some of them as part of a reserve fleet.
R32 3348 Posted November 7, 2009 Share #6 Posted November 7, 2009 LGA doesn't necessarily have to send off buses to be retired right after the NG's arrive. Even if there are some remaining buses, LGA may get hybrids from depots such as JFK and FR as a possible result of the Bee Line O5's heading to those depots. Grand Concourse Posted November 7, 2009 Share #7 Posted November 7, 2009 I hope the hybrids Far Rock sends are the 3700s than the 3500s [that have the forward facing rear seats].
