rad3766 Posted November 6, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 6, 2009 Passed thru the great little town of Hinton West Va at the end of October while on a motorcycle road trip; I recalled reading about Hinton in an article in "Trains" magazine not too long ago, was an interesting read, so I made sure to route my trip thru the area, glad I did, beautiful country in the fall. Bob Judging by the size of the station, I would guess this used to be a busy location, nowadays its served by the "Cardinal" on a 3 (?) train a week basis. Hung around town for almost an hour, hoping to see a coal drag come thru, didnt happen.

Forest Glen Posted November 8, 2009 Share #5 Posted November 8, 2009 It's nice to see Amtrak stations besides the well known stations like Penn, Newark, and Union Station.
