metsfan 2 Posted November 8, 2009 Share #3 Posted November 8, 2009 I saw this being built on discovery channel. Very befitting usage of the steel, which will lead the namesake vessel on missions of mercy, combat missions & training missions. - A
AA 8th Avenue 1 Posted November 8, 2009 Share #4 Posted November 8, 2009 I went to see the ship it was amazing. I floating fortress. It had land vehicles, air and amphibious crafts as well. The crew was very cool, allowing us to take pictures with them and my family. I will soon make a thread concerning it. It also gave a great view of the intrepid next door and all of its historical collections as well as the concorde. All in all a great experience on a great vessel. "Never Forget".
