A commuter's frustration over hike

Rae Keohane got slammed twice Wednesday by the MTA's fare hike.

 

The 56-year-old widow from Levittown, L.I., rides the Long Island Rail Road and the subway to get to her job in downtown Manhattan.

 

Her monthly LIRR pass, now nearly $193, is going up about $7.70 a month. The monthly MetroCard she uses is rising $5, to $81.
