INDman Posted November 19, 2009 Share #10 Posted November 19, 2009 For me I would say . is local but the choking point is the sudden sharing of tracks with the . How is that different from the sharing tracks with the on 4th Ave? Or the sharing with the (, that statement makes no sense.
SubwayGuy Posted November 19, 2009 Share #11 Posted November 19, 2009 Reason? The timetables say so. (Assumes normal service pattern) - D exp via 6th ave, 4th ave, local via west End - F local all the way - N exp via Bway, via Bridge, exp via 4th ave, local via Sea Beach - Q exp via Bway, via Bridge, local via Brighton
EE Broadway Local Posted November 21, 2009 Share #12 Posted November 21, 2009 If a Mott Avenue-Far Rockaway train departs Dyckman Street at 7:00am on a Monday morning and a 207th Street-Inwood train departs 111th Street-Greenwood Avenue five minutes later, which train reaches its' terminal first and which second and where do the trains meet/pass each other? MattTrain Posted November 21, 2009 Share #13 Posted November 21, 2009 If a Mott Avenue-Far Rockaway train departs Dyckman Street at 7:00am on a Monday morning and a 207th Street-Inwood train departs 111th Street-Greenwood Avenue five minutes later, which train reaches its' terminal first and which second and where do the trains meet/pass each other? I think those trains meet at Fulton Street-Broadway Nassau and the uptown train to 207th Street is the first to reach it's terminal before the downtown Far Rockaway Bound
