LRG Posted November 20, 2009 #1 Posted November 20, 2009 This morning, I found about the Arnines' revenue service run, so I left my house at 9:30 and got to Chambers Street/WTC a little after quarter to the next hour. I met up with some of my other railfan friends and, well, here's what happened: These were taken at the WTC: Some interior shots: And how about our lovely Rockettes! And for the heck of it, an R160 train leaving the World Trade Center: Here's an express run from West Fourth to 34th Streets: These were taken at Rockefeller Center: And this came out of nowhere!!! Enjoy!
Forest Glen Posted November 20, 2009 #2 Posted November 20, 2009 Nice. I wish I had known about this in advance.

Fan Railer Posted November 20, 2009 #9 Posted November 20, 2009 So 8 cars in total? Nice catch and  for that R32 B train. yep, those are all the cars owned by the TA (consist was 381-1000-1802-401-1300-1575-484-100). the remaining three on property (103, 923, 925) are owned by the Railway Preservation Corp. with no immediate plans to restore them. they sit in coney island yard, sadly rusting away.
INDman Posted November 20, 2009 #10 Posted November 20, 2009 381 is RPC owned as is 1000, 1300, and 1803.

Oh man, that's a shame It would be nice if they could at least save two of them to make a 10-car train.
