M7s and M8s are longer, wider, taller, runs on a higher voltage and are equipped for FRA operations for railroads. In other words, never happening. St Louis Car 09 Posted November 20, 2009 Share #8 Posted November 20, 2009 Welcome to the forums.And to answer that question......Not in a million years.As said above that they are too long and wide.The longest subway car running is 75`,the M7 and M8`s are 85` nuff said,but Imagine that.Maybe they can make a shorter version of both and put it on the subways.And before you guys start bashing me,I said maybe LOL.
