Ftrainfan Posted November 20, 2009 #1 Posted November 20, 2009 I heard that there was a R160 failure at kings highway. So all I saw on the were R46s and if i'm not mistaking a R42 set as well. plus the took 10 mins to come. it was horrible for most riders. Since they could not take their beloved R160s. Kind of hectic!
MattTrain Posted November 20, 2009 #2 Posted November 20, 2009 No R160s on the because one R160 set failed? That's weird. I see as much as 15 sets of R160s on the every time I ride that line. I have a feeling the will be dominated by R160 sets by next year.
Y2Julio Posted November 20, 2009 #3 Posted November 20, 2009 1. Nice to know you speak for the whole F ridership 2. I saw a set heading towards Manhattan no more than 15 mins ago.
Ftrainfan Posted November 21, 2009 Author #4 Posted November 21, 2009 R160s are back on the . Cool. I guess they fixed that problemthen.

Grand Concourse Posted November 21, 2009 #6 Posted November 21, 2009 I killed some time just going from the Brighton to the Culver line via the B35 limited and I saw/heard at least 3 R160 F trains running tonight at around 5:30-50pm

nel070 Posted November 21, 2009 #8 Posted November 21, 2009 i took the yesterday from 179st to coney island and was on a 160 and when i came back to jamaica got on another 160(F) and doing the route i would say the was over 70 percent 160s and only saw one 60 ft smee on the it was a 32 everything else on the was 46s
2 Train Master Posted November 21, 2009 #9 Posted November 21, 2009 Thats strange because yesterday I went to record some announcements on the and everything seemed fine no delays or anything. The R160's flood the .There paired up its like 3sets of 46's followed by 8-10sets of 160's that come.In other words they run backtoback w\o any 46 btwn. You probably just had bad luck or you just missed the R160 pack and it was the 46's pack coming.
