rockdove Posted November 24, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 24, 2009 I'm using MTA's Point to Point schedule to find out express bus departures at particular stops. It is a bit tedious. Are these available online in a list form, like the schedule you can often see at the actual bus stops that show times for that particular stop? If not, I will just take a photo of the schedule next time I'm at a stop.
EE Broadway Local Posted November 25, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 25, 2009 rockdove: Express bus schedules are. NYCTA Express Bus Schedules are listed by borough at the bottom and MTA Bus Express Bus Schedules are also. NYCTA has a page for each borough and MTA Bus has one page with The Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens. http://www.mta.info/nyct/service/bus/bussch.html or http://www.mta.info/busco/schedules/index.html
rockdove Posted November 25, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted November 25, 2009 Oh, those pamphlets are good but they have only the major stops listed. I was wondering about the times for the particular unlisted stops I will be using.
B35 via Church Posted November 25, 2009 Share #4 Posted November 25, 2009 When you look at each individual express route's timetable, it either tells you all the stops: a] in text format, or b] illustrated on a litte strip map... example of a] http://mta.info/busco/schedules/qm001cur.pdf (pages 9 & 10 of the pdf) example of b] http://mta.info/nyct/bus/schedule/xpress/x010cur.pdf (last 3 pages of the pdf) In other words, there are no "unlisted" stops the express bus timetables don't show... He is right not all stops are listed he is talking about the inbetween stops out side of what they deem major stops and the time they arrive at those stops Example the X28 non major stop 29th & 5th Avenue would not be listed on schedule Major stop 23rd & Madison or 23rd & Broadway would be listed on schedule

I misread what dude was asking.... I based my last post in here off just this part of the statement: "Oh, those pamphlets are good but they have only the major stops listed." I thought he was talking about just the list of stops... Timepoints @ every stop.... Wouldn't only you b/o's have that information? I've never seen a timetable (not just the MTA, but any transit system) that had a breakdown of every stop, and what time the buses are supposed to be there...
