I love the 24 hr Bx1, Bx5, Bx3 (it's needed), and the Bx7 being extended into Yonkers, of course with WCDOT approval. We do have the BxM3 already. I would love for the Bx9 to be extended into the Getty Square, and for the Bx16 and 31 to be extended into Cross County, via McLean Ave/via Central Park Avenue, with a stop at the Empire City Casino. I would love for the 1 train to be extended into downtown Yonkers, and the 4 into Cross County. That would be better than extending the buses.

I can dream can I.

Yeah. I have a whole bunch of ideas for extending Bronx bus service. I'll list a few of them:

Bx7 extended to Yonkers MNR station.

Bx10 extended to Ludlow MNR station.

Bx9 extended to Getty Square.

Bx31 to Cross County; route: McLean, Woodlawn, Kimball.

Bx16 to New Roc City and New Rochelle MNR station; route: Boston, Main/Huguenot.

Bx41 extension to connect Mount Vernon, Pelham and New Rochelle MNR stations; route: White Plains, West 1st, E Prospect, S Columbus, E Sandford (accessing the new Target shopping center and Pelham Memorial High School), Wolfs, 5th, Lincoln, North.

Any reactions?

(I've got several other ideas for extending Bronx buses within the Bronx.)
