Harry Posted June 29, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2007 One of the most frequent problems folks have with their nyctransitforums.com accounts is when they change to a new e-mail account. When you change to a new e-mail, the forum locks your account and sends out a confirmation e-mail. Why does it do that? To keep spammers etc from signing up with a real e-mail, then changing it to nobody@nowhere.com and proceeding to spam the place. When you change your e-mail, please be sure that your spam filter does not block the confirmation letter. Also, please allow up to 12 hours for the confirmation to arrive, depending on e-mail traffic. As usual, if you're having problems, use the "contact us" form to drop the staff a note and we'll get your account back up and running.
