R44 5278 Posted December 14, 2009 Share #26 Posted December 14, 2009 I would have played with the horn. To me a pressing a button is not as fun as pulling a handle, but I'm surprised at how loud those WABCO horns go especially on the R160s.

IRT Bronx Express Posted December 20, 2009 Share #34 Posted December 20, 2009 I'd operate the train if the cab door was left open. Nice catch!

cdi919 Posted December 20, 2009 Share #36 Posted December 20, 2009 the t/o probably locked the door, but many times cops hide in the cabs when they need a break and seat. which is a no no but they still do it. they also do it a lot in the summer so they can soak up the ac. most times i have seen this they dont relock the door. Grand Concourse Posted December 20, 2009 Share #37 Posted December 20, 2009 Nice pics! Interesting seeing the interior of the cab. I would've thought there would be some sort of latch inside the cab to close the door [the same way on the R62As] if they were to 'shrink' the cab. bveguy Posted December 23, 2009 Share #38 Posted December 23, 2009 You lock the door from the inside if you don't want to take out your key and close it gently. Slamming it shut will do nothing.

Grand Concourse Posted December 24, 2009 Share #40 Posted December 24, 2009 Oic, plus with the 'hardware' on the left, I guess that cuts out any chances of folding the cab in for an RFW Oh well thanks for the interior pic.
