Cait Sith Posted December 14, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted December 14, 2009 Awsome Pics   Great pixs! The looks good! Thanks! Hmm, "R10" leading/trailing. Looks like that was a pretty cool sight to see. I was happy to see 1575 as the lead car. INDman Posted December 14, 2009 Share #9 Posted December 14, 2009 Nice shots. I was happy to see 1575 as the lead car. They have been shifting cars for each car to be the lead/end I remember hearing that 1575 was not usually a lead motor back when it was in service (50's-60's) because it could be mistaken for an R10 and could confuse the motorman when it came to braking the train. As to how true this is, I don't know. I thought it was great to see this in the lead, but it seems a few people on the first trip were bitching about it because it did not have "two windows" like the rest of the Arnines. INDman Posted December 14, 2009 Share #11 Posted December 14, 2009 They actually were? Yes, sad but true. I guess not enough people could crowd into the one window to see a tunnel that never changes. On the other hand, many were happy to see 1575 as the north motor.
NX Express Posted December 14, 2009 Share #12 Posted December 14, 2009 Nice pics! I guess not enough people could crowd into the one window to see a tunnel that never changes. One of the reasons I wouldn't waste my time crowding around the window. I would just sit back and enjoy the ride, which obviously changes.
