Fan Railer Posted December 14, 2009 Share #2 Posted December 14, 2009 hmmm, very interesting, so what happened to the R188? they still working on that too, or is it in the backburner due to budget? I know the 10-14 capital plan states the interest in procuring 146 cars (new cabs, not including R142/A conversions), but i don't see how that works, unless there are plans to procure more cab cars... Robert Paniagua Posted December 16, 2009 Share #10 Posted December 16, 2009 The new Toronto, Canada subway car also made by Bombardier, and it could be the R179 car order as a 75-foot car but as 4-car configuration contrary to TTC's 6-car configuration http://www3.ttc.ca/About_the_TTC/Projects_and_initiatives/New_Subway_Train/index.jsp
