kaback9 Posted December 16, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 16, 2009 Ken S did a great job covering the TFT train on M&E rails, here are some photos from Sunday's run on the NYS&W. It was the same train as Saturday's but NYS&W added some power in the form of an SD45-2. We Start off in Maywood http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1871484 Hawthorne was the next stop http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1871494 They stopped in Wortendyke but we were getting chow on board so no photos. Next Stop Wyckoff: http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1871546 While sitting in Wyckoff the Fire Dept came and donated and we had the opportunity to take a group photo of them with the train and the marines who were with the train. http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1871555 Next Stop was Pompton Lakes where a large number of toys were also donated: http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1871565 Finally last stop was Butler where the train was turned: http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1871587 I hope everyone has a happy holiday whatever it maybe! metsfan Posted December 17, 2009 Share #3 Posted December 17, 2009 Excellent stuff man! I dunno, "mercy trains", evacuation trains, red cross trains, relief supply trains, and of course charity trains, they just get me. They personify the wonderful massive capacity and usefulness of rail, while just having an aura of goodness going on.  - A
