R142 2 train with incorrect strip map

Grand Concourse

To add also, I remember 1 (4) R142 AND 1-2 R142As were on the (2)(5) during 2007, which i rode them. Now I don't see any R142As on the (2)(5) of course.. Tho there was once early this yr the (2) ran an R142 from the (4).. I think its off the (2) now..

Heh I even saw an R62 (2) train IN SERVICE back in 2007 which was during the AM rush, using the (3)s car for 239th Access, wonder if it happens sometimes..

Tho when (5)s run from Mott/149th to Bowling Green, Sometimes it used the (4) R142/A..

I know, but usually the map is turned off if it's the wrong route. At least this is the 2nd time i've seen this happen.

Most of the time its not turned off unless the (2) or (5) is going to Crown Heights-Utica Avenue or New Lots Avenue then the strip map is off!

Well usually the stip maps are turned on when they are swapped, ether its broken or its like that. Its not suppose to be bit have that red sign pop out "Route Map Not in use" or something..

Obviously traveling up the wrong route, it should be turned off. The only time it would be ok is if the 2/5 were going to New Lots/Utica.

It do not matter.....I've rode the (2) via Lexington Avenue and the strip map is was on though it was on a different route!
