BroadwayBuffer Posted December 24, 2009 Share #4 Posted December 24, 2009 I was on a and a at different times today, both had the others' strip maps, and neither were turned off, so I guess it's pretty common.
mark1447 Posted December 24, 2009 Share #5 Posted December 24, 2009 To add also, I remember 1 R142 AND 1-2 R142As were on the during 2007, which i rode them. Now I don't see any R142As on the of course.. Tho there was once early this yr the ran an R142 from the .. I think its off the now.. Heh I even saw an R62 train IN SERVICE back in 2007 which was during the AM rush, using the (3)s car for 239th Access, wonder if it happens sometimes.. Tho when (5)s run from Mott/149th to Bowling Green, Sometimes it used the R142/A..
Grand Concourse Posted December 24, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted December 24, 2009 I know, but usually the map is turned off if it's the wrong route. At least this is the 2nd time i've seen this happen.

Well usually the stip maps are turned on when they are swapped, ether its broken or its like that. Its not suppose to be bit have that red sign pop out "Route Map Not in use" or something.. Grand Concourse Posted December 24, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted December 24, 2009 Obviously traveling up the wrong route, it should be turned off. The only time it would be ok is if the 2/5 were going to New Lots/Utica.
