Amtrak7 Posted December 26, 2009 Share #8 Posted December 26, 2009 :eek:They're here!!! I never thought this day would ever come in 2009. Have these been sent to Pueblo, CO for testing yet, or no? The primary purpose of this fleet is for adding capacity and replacing the cars in absolute worst condition. Replacement just for the sake of it will not come for a while. mark1447 Posted December 26, 2009 Share #12 Posted December 26, 2009 and the M3 down in Long Island Yup there we go too.. I wonder.. Does Shoreliners, Comet, bilevels off the MNCRR/LIRR have any Storm doors to look thru?
metsfan Posted December 26, 2009 Share #13 Posted December 26, 2009 The shoreliners/comets, C-3 and MLV have cab cars with end vestibules, the metropolitans and cosmopolitans have windows in the cab end, but they can be locked and crew property kept there blocking the rear door's window. - A

Michael Posted December 26, 2009 Share #17 Posted December 26, 2009 I think I tend to agree with Luis 1985.They are quite ugly looking and can't even rail fan to boot. Even the M 7's are better looking ( give a cleaner less cluttered appearance),Just my opinion.
R44 5278 Posted December 26, 2009 Share #18 Posted December 26, 2009 I'm so glad that the black stripe scheme came back! It definitely makes the trains look "Classy" as preceded by the M1 and M2!
