Paul P Posted January 8, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 8, 2010 Special thanks to Fred G for taking me around all the great spots he shoots daily. We covered New London, Old Saybrook, Niantic, Westbrook, Guilford, and Branford. By the time I got to New Haven my hands were icicles and weren't up for anymore train shots. Enjoy the pictures more in this gallery. Thanks for looking.

Well isnt West Brookl ConnDOT becuz of the logo? And some of the stations above. Amtrak owns all the track that I pictured above. And yes ConnDOT runs its SLE trains on it. Maybe he's referring to he pictures posted outside of this thread, which you didn't look at. Nice. I have not seen 939 in a looong time in person. - A Thanks Andy, you saw it here! Slammin pics! Fred G Posted January 8, 2010 Share #9 Posted January 8, 2010 Nice photos, but the 4th pic, although a nice shot, clearly shows trespassing onto the ROW. edit - probably a good idea to pull that shot, not give anyone ideas that it's ok to stand there. Anyway, the shots are terrific and it's good to see same ground through someone else's eyes (although I'm still calling AEM7 947 the Fred Shot )
Fred G Posted January 8, 2010 Share #10 Posted January 8, 2010 I don't see any Shoreline East trains in the pictures, so where did you get ConnDOT from? There's a SLE station pictured twice; I'm curious as to where Metro North fits in the pictures  Perhaps Megabus thought the station was MN?
