NX Express Posted January 9, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 9, 2010 Posted on:1/8/2010 7:49:11 PM Due to switch problems at the Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer Station: Select Jamaica Center-bound trains are running on the line between the Van Wyck Boulevard Station and the Jamaica-179th Street Station. Select Jamaica Center-bound trains are terminating at Forest Hills-71st Avenue Station. Please expect delays in service on the train at this time. Some should terminate at Jamaica-Van Wyck or Parsons Blvd. instead of 71 Av. Continental has enough trains to handle. Also, due to a rail condition at the 14th Street-Union Square Station, please expect delays in service on the Woodlawn-bound , Eastchester-bound and Pelham Bay Park-bound trains. This has been going on forever. What's up?
SevenEleven Posted January 9, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 9, 2010 Some should terminate at Jamaica-Van Wyck or Parsons Blvd. instead of 71 Av. Continental has enough trains to handle. Only select trains are running to Jamaica Center. In the end of rush hour (with still crowded trains), it will be nearly impossible to turn trains at Jamaica Van Wyck. In Addition, there's no control tower to throw the switches for you)

LRG Posted January 9, 2010 Share #4 Posted January 9, 2010 This is like the third time this week the has dealt with a service disruption. Can't the riders get a break* from this??? *After they complained about 32s on the , they probably don't deserve a break from anything...lol
