Pablo M 201 35 Posted January 10, 2008 Share #2 Posted January 10, 2008 I've been on an R27/30 but have little memory of it but just enough to know I've been on one. And I've been on an R110B once.
Brighton Local 703 Posted January 10, 2008 Share #3 Posted January 10, 2008 I rode the R32, R44, and R46 pre-overhaul. I remember the Blue stripe well, R-32s on the Train sporting the Blue doors; Around 1987-89.
PATCOman 196 Posted January 10, 2008 Share #4 Posted January 10, 2008 I rode on the pre- GOH IIRC R32, R44, R46, but I was too young to remember anything. I remember some stuff about the R110A though since I only rode on that once. I remember that it had seating like the 75 fts but only on one side, and the red seats. The door closing sound sounded a bit like a siren.

R1Toasty 0 Posted January 10, 2008 Share #9 Posted January 10, 2008 how did the R110b sound like? does it sound like the old trains or the R142? I agree, I really want to see those cars in action. There's way too much unknown about them.
Far Rock Depot 1,291 Posted January 10, 2008 Share #10 Posted January 10, 2008 I remember the 110's. the a's had 3 different color seats. The b's i was on everyday during its intro. They sound like the 142's. the 110a's sounded like 5 142's accelerating 3 seconds apart like an echo. if i remember correctly, per 5 car unit, 2 cars had blue seats, 2 were red, and the D car was yellow on the A's. BMT4Life 0 Posted January 11, 2008 Share #11 Posted January 11, 2008 I used them all except the 110's. Same for me too! I've never even seen the R110 in person.
