I don't understand why here in the USA don't we have more of these. It would eliminate some sea-sickness, and transport customers all year round. Ice in the Hudson, no problem. Solar panels could be used for a power source to electric engines, or they can be just like hybrid buses. Diesel or jet engines to power electric motors, to turn the fans. It would be nice, but I guess costs makes them unattractive here.

The fastest one of these types was recorded doing nearly 83knots (96mph).
