Ah, so you're Dave that added me on flickr today...I had a feeling it was you but wasn't sure.

I can tell you're definitely learning a lot since getting the GH1...whenever we get new cameras it takes us a little while to get settled in with them.

I see you've got Photoshop CS4...you should have used that for the tilt-shift instead of TiltShiftMaker; i'm not a big fan of the effect but PS can do it a helluva lot nicer, IMO.

Nice shots Dave. I'm impressed. I see that you've been improving a lot since you got your DSLR. Keep up the good work. The 3rd shot was my favorite, though I would have gone 100% with the B&W.

Thanks Julio! I really only got that effect when I was batch resizing the pictures in PS and I came across the selective color option. I kinda liked the "touch-of-color effect.

My Southern BMT is looking good.:)

Indeed it is:cool:

Nice shots. That R160 (F) shot looks like something from model railroading.

Thanks (K)

I was just about to say the same thing...

Yep, thats basically the point of tilt shift, to make things look mini and like a model.

Awesome pics Dave!

Thanks Demetrius!

LOL, my R40M/R42 mismatch pair is looking good! :)

Nice shots Dave! Keep it up.

Thanks Lrg!

Thanks Joe. Yep that was me who added you on Flickr.

It takes time and patience for people used to it, but the payout is all worth it.

That tilt shift picture was really only a test. I looked up model trains and that link popped up. Im not the biggest fan of it, but it can give some interesting effects. I also was unaware of the PS plugin and or probably dunno how to use it.

It's a bit tricky to use, but it gives you a lot more control on how to blur the out-of-plane areas of the image. PS is definitely win when it comes to photo editing.

Haha at the first part!

PS is definetly win when it comes to photo editing, even though I usually only use it for batch resizing.

Awesome shots Dave I love that catch of the 32(B)ravo & that R42<Q> I think it is or a R40M they look the same to me.But Awesome shots bro!!

Thanks man! I believe its a R42 set, or a R40M and a R42 mixed set, not sure. Wonder what there gonna do with it, probably work service.
