Here is the updated list as of 04/21/10. Astor Place and Canal St. on the (6) both have the signs as I was passing by that area on Saturday and both platforms at both stations have the signs up and running. 110th also apparently has the signs up and running.

42nd St. Line (7) - will not get signs until 2016 after CBTC and PA/CIS work

42nd St. Crosstown (S) - None (0/2)

Queens

Flushing Line (7) - will not get signs until 2016 after CBTC and PA/CIS work

Stations with the new screens: 20/152 (not counting Cortlandt St. (1), Dyre (5) & Flushing (7) lines)

I'd also appreciate it if a mod stickied this thread, seeing as this is going to be updated frequently throughout the next year.

I really dont get, why are they putting arrival time indicator eletric signs at a Newkirk Avenue - Flatbush Avenue bound platform? Very few people board at that station to get off 1 stop?

Waste of Money Throw Away agency.

Because not putting the signs there would make too much sense.

Are these signs activated by station or platform? Meaning, has anyone seen a sign for one direction without a sign for the opposite direction?

I think it's by station, since that's how every station has gotten the signs so far.

Most likely, probably hoping that the train will come earlier, even though it's based on signals not the schedule.

I just think, it's a NY thing. Everyone is almost used to the erratic scheduling without those readers. And those not standing near the signs would almost definitely be leaning over.

For those interested in the Countdown Clock rollout, here's an Excel spreadsheet showing all the station that do and do not have the clocks working. This file will be updated on a weekly basis

No such lines as "Livonia Line" or "42 St Line". Nostrand Av and Kingston Av (3) stations are Eastern Pkwy Line local stations, and (7) in Manhattan is still Flushing Line.

On one side of note, Brooklyn IRT Mainline would be Eastern Pkwy Line. It covers from Borough Hall for tracks 2 and 3 and Hoyt St for tracks 1 and 4, all the way to Crown Hts-Utica Av. Beyond Crown Hts-Utica Av would be New Lots Av Line all the way to Livonia Yard, but still chained with Eastern Pkwy Line (letter E). Now do remember that Borough Hall (2) and (3) station is actually Broadway-7 Av Line Brooklyn Branch station. Only (4) and (5) station counts as Eastern Pkwy Line station for Borough Hall.

Hes calling it like that to point the sections of the line and (7) in Manhattan too.. Theres nothing wrong with it. Just keep it unofficial and your good.. Just like when I use St. Nicholas Avenue Line for the (A)(B)(C)(D) north of 122nd Street as it runs under the street

Btw Kris, thx for the update! I got more video recording to do at these station! ;)

157th/Eastern pkway done for me

Be careful, though, the name "42 St" is already used on 42 St Shuttle tracks (unofficially 42 St Line/Crosstown and includes (S), and chained as MM). If there are same names on multiple lines on same division, whether official or unofficial, that would result in total confusion.

(7) is Flushing Line in the entire line, and the unofficial name 42 St Line would more likely refer to (S) (not necessarily, however). You still should be careful when you use unofficial names.;)

True, as long as you give a bit more details on what you mean, or people ill get . It would be better to say 42nd Street (Flushing Line), that would be best:)

That may be better, but in that case, I would say Flushing-42 St Line. Since Track 1 is a southbound/westbound track (which starts at Flushing-Main St and ends at Times Sq-42 St), I would better have more priority on whatever's first on Track 1. It's just like 14 St-Canarsie Line ((L)), Track 1 is eastbound track that starts at 8 Av-14 St and ends at Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy.
