Fresh Pond Posted February 2, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 2, 2010 Hmmmmmmmm, I'll go sometime this week, Whitlock is one of my favorite stations... ...BTW ever noticed that the person who announces the stations (I forgot her name), it seems like she yells Whitlock
mark1447 Posted February 2, 2010 Share #3 Posted February 2, 2010 Im so there Soundviews and Whitlock, this week. The t/a should of added the Bx27 since it goes there.. Soundviews is like 2-3 blocks from Elder station, people who live near Whitlock during late nights may need to ether get off at Elder and cross the NEC on Westchester Avenue or for going to the Pelham or walk like 4-7 blocks to the Simpson Street WPR Station. Saidly no late night buses are provided, and they cant even extend the Bx27 during afterhours =(! As for the split, i wonder if the t/a will relay at the at 138th street/Mott haven in the Jerome. If it does, i can grab me a vid!

Forest Glen Posted February 2, 2010 Share #5 Posted February 2, 2010 It would make more sense for Parkchester to be given ADA.
Q43LTD Posted February 2, 2010 Share #6 Posted February 2, 2010 This would make sense to run the Bx4 and 27 overnight

fishmech Posted February 8, 2010 Share #9 Posted February 8, 2010 The Bronx was a full part of Manhattan for quite a while though. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a century-old-or-more holdover.
