JubaionBx12+SBS Posted February 2, 2010 Share #1 Posted February 2, 2010 Breaking NEWS!!! 2009 NovaBus LFS Demo Bus 0055 has now made its way to JFK Depot, according to TTMG Roster. This is the 40ft model MTA is testing for a possible order in the future, with the way MTAs budget is looking distant future. It is not a hybrid and I look forward to seeing this bus possibly on Q60. Infamous85 Posted February 2, 2010 Share #5 Posted February 2, 2010 I know, I've seen it and it looks nice (then again I've always been an LFS fan). I hope I see it on a route that I pass (Q6, Q8, Q9, Q40, Q41, Q60, Q89). I'm a little jealous now lol, why can't a bus demo at JAM.
Grand Concourse Posted February 2, 2010 Share #6 Posted February 2, 2010 From the subchat thread, it may also go to Ulmer for testing too. I'm hoping to see it on the B6. Finally something other than just more O7s.

Grand Concourse Posted February 2, 2010 Share #8 Posted February 2, 2010 Yeah, I'm hoping it goes to Ulmer. I'd like to ride it close to home than to go out of the way to Queens, etc. I think I have rode one before for Disney's transit. But that was maybe 3-4 years ago. w8Hou Posted February 2, 2010 Share #9 Posted February 2, 2010 It will probably be on Q10 and Q60, very good test routes.

SevenEleven Posted February 3, 2010 Share #19 Posted February 3, 2010 PAUSE!!! Lol nah but why a 2009? they aint upgrade their 2010 version yet?> idk The 2009 model is the latest redesign of the LFS. The only thing "2010" about it is the engine which has to comply with the 2010 EPA Regulations.

Grand Concourse Posted February 3, 2010 Share #23 Posted February 3, 2010 no... ill catch it when i catch it, m not that bus crazy! And neither am I. That's why I prefer something close so I won't have to go far. And if I catch it, I catch it. If not, then I don't catch it. It's along my destination anyway. Dispatchers and depot personnel (ie. Bus Operators & workers) are last to know about these things before they actually happen....Gotta speak with the depot superintendents....
