What would you think of a trip like this?

 

1) PATH 33d Street to Newark Penn Station;

2)(NJT) :nec: Newark Penn Station to Trenton;

3)(NJT) RiverLine Trenton to Walter Rand Transportation Center;

4) PATCO Hi-Speed Line Walter Rand Transportation Center to 8th/Market Streets;

5) Market Street-Frankford Line 8th/Market Streets to 69th Street Terminal

6) Norristown High Speed Line 69th Street Terminal to Norristown Transportation Center.

 

Then:

 

1) Norristown High Speed Line Norristown Transportation Center to 69th Street Terminal;

2) Market Street-Frankford Line 69th Street Terminal to 30th Street;

3) (NJT) :ac: Philadelphia to Atlantic City;

4) (NJT) # 67 or # 319 Atlantic City to PABT

If you have the money then by all means do it. The River Line is very scenic (though I hate the smell of diesel). If you're lucky you'll catch a PA5 when you ride PATH. PATCO has a nice ride over the Ben Franklin Bridge.
