R62A 1991 Posted February 9, 2010 Share #7 Posted February 9, 2010 I hope school gets canceled for you guys too. A question: has the MTA ever done Plan 4 during the week? I know more recently, it's popped up only on Weekends, which was a good situation.
Shortline Bus Posted February 9, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted February 9, 2010 Guys please don't kill me if the forecast is wrong lol but the weathercasters says everyone living along Interstate 95 from Richmond-NYC-Boston could get up to 1 foot or more from this possible 'blizzard.' Messino Posted February 9, 2010 Share #9 Posted February 9, 2010 :tdown:this is BS.. Just like the last storm they said we would see 4-6 inches over the weekend here in the city and it was nothing more than a light dusting. I bet we dont see more than 2 inches this time. Paul P Posted February 9, 2010 Share #10 Posted February 9, 2010 Thanks to this snow, I'm probably going to stay home and not have any classes at all this weekend. This state is so unprepared, it declared a state of emergency, which means none of the missed days have to be made up. We already had 2 feet of snow 2 days ago, and some people still have not recovered electricity...

metsfan Posted February 9, 2010 Share #13 Posted February 9, 2010 I don't want it to be a severe snowstorm, because weds is when i get to see my girlfriend for more than an hour before she clocks into work. Also, i want to finally be able to get some mid-storm snow photos, and if needed i'd like to be able to help my girlfriend's dad dig out the apartment area he's in charge of, because that's a lot of work for one person. If it is going to dump a foot or more, please let it be weds night! - A

Yikes. When did DC become the 'new Buffalo' for mega snowstorms lol. Seriously i hope President Obama makes the Mid Atlantic area hit by these 2 blizzards 'disaster areas' to help those cash stripped cities and towns in the region.B)
Shortline Bus Posted February 9, 2010 Author Share #20 Posted February 9, 2010 Little off topic for moment but related. Here clip from a local NBC-TV Baltimore, Md. station WBAL TV short on Monday Night 2/8/10 newscasts. It shows how in which food and even gasoline shortages are occuring. Its due to mainly delivery trucks unable to get to the Baltimore/DC area from around the country as local streets and highways down there are still snow covered. http://www.wbaltv.com/video/22503891/index.html And reason, many folks in DC and Baltimore are not happy with the almost certianity of being 'buried' again.B)
