-this map has the second avenue subway: the (T) runs from 168 street, the Bronx to 14 street, Manhattan/ all times. & the (Q) is extended to 125 street all times but nights, also it has a new trains, the (8) & the (K) train!!

hey guys if you see this map, you will know i made a few extensions:

 

(A)- extended to 242 street in the Bronx

(C)- extended first to lefferts BLVD in queens, then to 125 street in queens

(E)/(J)/(Z)/(V)- all extended to 177 street in queens

(D)- extended to E 242 street in the Bronx via Bronx BLVD

(F)- extended to 188 street in eastern queens

(G)- extended to 18 avenue in Brooklyn all times via local/ & in queens extended to 179 street via express

(L)- extended to 23 street in Manhattan via 9th avenue

(N)/(W)- both extended to E 174 street in the Bronx

(R)- extended south to 100 street in Brooklyn & in queens extended to Jamaica-179 street via local

(Q)- extended to 125 street-second avenue all times but nights

(T)- first made from 125 street-14 street in Manhattan- then to 168 street in the Bronx.

(1)- extended to 251 street, more up in the Bronx

(2)- extended to avenue J in Brooklyn

(3)- extended west to 8th avenue (wow 1 stop to the left)!

(4)- extended/ replacing (3) trains to new lots avenue all times

(5)- first extended to Atlantic avenue, Brooklyn, then to Avenue J./ all times but nights

(7)/<7>- both extended south to 23 street via 9th avenue in Manhattan & in queens extended to 155 street, eastern queens

(A)(C)(E)(K)-

(A)- all times between 242 street, the Bronx & far rockaway queens, express in Manhattan & Brooklyn all times but nights, night local.

(C)- all times but nights between 168 street, Manhattan/125 street, queens-local/ nights as a shuttle, between Euclid avenue, Brooklyn & 125 street, queens, connects with (A) for Manhattan at Euclid avenue.

(E)- all times between 177 street, queens/world trade center, Manhattan/ local in Manhattan/express in queens/ late nights all stops.

(K)- weekends between Bedford park boulevard, Bronx & world trade center Manhattan via central park west,8th avenue & concourse express, *note: trains stop at 155 street WHEN IT RUNS, to avoid delays at the 145 street lower level with terminating (:P trains on weekends.

 

(:P(D)(F)(V)-

(B)- all times but nights between 145 street, Manhattan & coney island Brooklyn, extended to 167 street-the Bronx, rush hours, no <(B)> is marked on maps, signs or trains. late nights as a shuttle-between 36 street & coney island in Brooklyn, connects with (N) at 36 street for Manhattan service.

(D)- all times between E 242 street, the Bronx & coney island in Brooklyn, local in Bronx & Brooklyn, express in Manhattan.

(F)- all times between 188 street, queens & coney island in Brooklyn. local in Manhattan & Brooklyn, express in queens via 63 street.

(V)- weekdays till 12:00 AM between 177 street, in queens to kings highway in Brooklyn, local in Manhattan & queens via 53 street & express in Brooklyn.

 

(N)(Q)(R)(W)-

(N)- all times between 174 street, the Bronx & coney island in Brooklyn, local in Bronx & queens/ via 60 street, express in Manhattan & Brooklyn, late nights all stops via lower Manhattan.

(Q)- all times but nights between 125 street, Manhattan & coney island Brooklyn VIA SEA BEACH LINE!, nights between 57 street Manhattan & pacific street, Brooklyn, EXPRESS!!.

(R)- all times but nights between 179 street-Jamaica, in queens & 100 street in Brooklyn, all local stops via 60 street/ late nights via shuttle between 100 street & 36 street in Brooklyn, connects with (N) .

(W)- weekdays till 11:45 PM between 174 street, the Bronx & Whitehall street, Manhattan/ all stops via 60 street.

 

(G)-

- weekdays between court square, queens & 18 avenue, Brooklyn/ extended to 179 street in queens weekends & nights.

 

(T)-

- all times between 168 street, the Bronx & 14 street, Manhattan, local.

 

(J)(M)(Z)-

(J)- all times between 177 street, queens & broad street, Manhattan/ skip-stop rush hours (to/from Manhattan) all local stops other times.

(M)- weekdays between metropolitan avenue-queens & coney island -Brooklyn/ local in Manhattan, queens & upper Brooklyn/ express main Brooklyn (4th avenue)/ weekends between metropolitan avenue, queens & canal street, Manhattan/ via the newly made "express" tracks & new platforms, but late nights cut to myrtle avenue, connects with at myrtle avenue for Manhattan service, Brooklyn, otherwise local

(Z)- same as the (J) , but express Myrle-Marcy avenues, but rush hours & midday's!

 

(L)- all times between 23 street, Manhattan & rockaway parkway, Brooklyn/ local

Why does the Brighton Express only go to Kings Highway?

 

I hope there is added capacity for the E and V to both run to Jamaica.

 

It looks weird having the Q on 4th Avenue. It looks better on the Brighton Line.

 

Good job, though.

It's a fantasy; it's not supposed to make sense. :P

It makes sense to me, all right!

Brighton Express goes only to Kings Highway to lower wastefulness south of this station. (I think that's why (E) Local did that) Only change I would make is having the LOCAL end at Kings Highway and the express go to Coney Island.

Added capacity probably exists at Jamaica.

About "looks weird", umm...umm... who cares? The (MTA) sure doesn't!

The N/Q, Sea Beach doesn't need both lines running there. The N is good enough. Why have 6th Av serve Brighton only? Why not one each Broadway and 6th av? Finally M is hardly used anyway. It doesn't need to run to CI, Bay Pkwy is enough.

 

Have you rode the B [prior to the station closures]? The B is justified to run to/from Brighton Beach.

 

To NX:

The way the line is set up, the local would tie up express service to turn back to allow the express to go to CI. That's why the local runs to CI and the express to Brighton Beach.

Since the fantasy indulges on such changes, it might as well include a major track reconfiguration to allow express service to reach Coney Island while allowing the locals to terminate at Kings Highway or Brighton Beach.

 

A flyunder could be built in that "alley" 4-track el south of Neptune Avenue.

I think the (N) should run entirely express in Brooklyn, and not the (Q) just because it's my favorite line. ;)

I really don't care as long as it's not a half-assed express like these:

  • (Q) express in Manhattan, local in Brooklyn
  • (N) local in Manhattan, express in Brooklyn
  • (:) local in Manhattan (practically), express in Brooklyn
