Phil D. Posted February 3, 2008 Share #1 Posted February 3, 2008 Yep, R160As are running and will continue to run OPTO on the weekends and replace the R143s. I went out yesterday to catch the action and get pictures of history taking place. R160As hit the M Line in service for the first time in history. Of course it has to be me getting the pics, its the line that made me a railfan and my home line! I'll tell you one thing, R160As on the M is extremely weird and gives me an uncomfortable feeling. Its just, weird. I included some bonus pics and videos subchat didn't see Anyway here are the pics, enjoy! Video

Phil D. Yeah but I wanted a video. I timed it perfectly I knew both trains would come. That spot at Myrtle Wycoff is way over shot because of the foamers who come up by me and foam over that curve. Pelham Bay Dave Posted February 4, 2008 Share #14 Posted February 4, 2008 Very Nice! I hope they just keep those sets on the Line. I work the Line on Wednesdays so I'll be on the look out. I would just love to operate one from Bay Parkway to Met.

Phil D. Posted February 7, 2008 Author Share #19 Posted February 7, 2008 The night shot was great, and as you stated in the video "Oh perfect" Indeed Paul Thanks alot! Yeah I was happy as hell that I timed it perfectly. Right after I took that video the transit cop that got in the video stopped me and asked me/accused me of doing scratchfiti or however you spell it. He asked me why I was at the end of the platform and acused me of doing that crap and I told him I don't even think of doing that etc and he said have a nice day and let me go.
