NYCT 915 and more recent photos

Recommended Posts

Is 915 really going to the Bay Ridge-95 St (R) Station? ;)
That is where the B8 goes. But what throws it off for me is that smiley you put at the end. But oh well.

Anyways, 915 sure is a unique bus with those signs.

Awesome shots all around!

Sure can. I've seen a few buses with a larger font. It was a QBx1 with the top and bottom cut off from that, and half of Flushing on the top line and half of Main St Sta on the bottom line. Few MCIs had that problem. But those was just the sign got messed up.

Awesome shots Rich!

I recognize 18th Avenue in the pics. A good friend of mine lived around there.

The # of that bus when it was still at Command was 4961.

NYCT 247 used to have a similar sign too.

Ex- Triboro 3039 used to have an odd orange sign too.

Remember those old Green Bus Lines orange sign annimations?

Ex-Triboro 3039 still has the orange sign. I saw it about a month ago on the QM4.

Yeah, but now its normal like the other buses with LEDs.

Before, it would have one message which was very small that would take up about half of the screen, and the next message would take up the whole screen.

That 915 is a sharp looking bus and being from Bay Ridge, gotta love it.

Paul (R)

Thanks, I wish all the C40LF buses had those signs.
