Eliot Spitzer says the state is committed to the massive renovation plan known as Moynihan Station in Manhattan despite being about $1 billion short of its rising price. "We are committed," Spitzer said Tuesday. Farley Post Office around new businesses, shops and hotels. Assemblyman Richard Brodsky, however, says the project along with other nearby mega projects _ expansion of the Javits Convention Center, extension of the No. 7 subway station among them _ are failing and might not be fixable. DOB2RTO 29 Posted February 13, 2008 Share #2 Posted February 13, 2008 Too many expensive projects going on at one time. 1-2 at a time would be more appropriate. Second Ave subway, and the East side access should have been the main 2 for the MTA. The 7 extension is something paid for by the City of New York (aka CONEY), itself. So that is basically a city project, while the others are MTA projects.

Once that's done, then they should start worrying about these other minor projects.
