Due to a train with mechanical problems at the 3rd Avenue-138th Street Station:

 

Bronx-bound trains will terminate at the 3rd Avenue-138th Street Station.

 

Please expect delays in train service at this time.

 

How could a 6 train terminate there if the train is blocking it from entering?

Bronx-bound trains will terminate at the 3rd Avenue-138th Street Station.

Even if the stalled train was a 3AVE-138 Street the stalled train would have been on the Local train while trains would terminate on the Middle track. Which is exactly what going to happen Middays starting tommorrow.

Yes Most likely they don't want to tell us yet since they don't want us picking away from the line.
