Sea Beach Posted April 12, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 12, 2010 Emergency officials stop train at Old Town station By Staten Island Advance April 12, 2010, 11:49AM STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Emergency officials stopped a St.-George bound train at the Old Town station Monday morning. Approximately 40 passengers were asked to evacuate in the apparent bomb scare. Canine units were summoned to inspect. The dogs boarded the train and found nothing suspicious, according to police radio transmissions. Personally, I think some of you guys should take these threats more seriously. It could have nothing to do with terrorism, but keep it mind that it could be you, your parents, your child, your girlfriend, friend, ect. that could be a victim in the next terrorist attack.
