JohnQPine Posted April 14, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 14, 2010 NJ Transit still plans on raising fares a whopping 25% on commuter bus and rail, while local buses see only 10% increase. My question is, if I buy a bunch of tickets at the old price, will they still be good after May 1? 25% is a real chunk of change for the bus to Toms River (which goes up to nearly $20 each way!). All i know is that the off peak round trip tickets are only vaild til the 23rd... the rest of the tickets should still be vaild for the time that they should work. PATCOman Posted April 14, 2010 Share #3 Posted April 14, 2010 They should still be good after May 1. I remember I stocked up on several New York/Newark- Trenton tickets before the 2007 hike.
