SubwayGuy Posted April 20, 2010 Share #28 Posted April 20, 2010 oh dang, does that mean we are getting R10s again in the museum Nope, they were just pulling the museum tracks that day. Everything is going back the way it was though. Nice shots! So those cars are going to the NYCTM? Those cars all already belong to the museum and are just stored indoors in the tunnel. They had to pull them that day to clear space for the museum cars, which were also moved. Everything will be going back the way it was more or less though AFAIK. bveguy Posted April 21, 2010 Share #30 Posted April 21, 2010 From what I've heard from a security guard at the NYCTM today, the R32s are supposed to go in there, but nothing was there today due to switch problems yesterday.
R32 3838 Posted April 21, 2010 Share #31 Posted April 21, 2010 Me too and several other friends we were foaming 2 death trying to look out the window as we entered Hoyt on the Lefferts bound. It was a nice sight to see the old skool stuff for those few seconds entering Hoyt. Yep, I got some shots of the IRT SMEE's with The R40 Slants on sunday, I wish I was there to see the R10's, Damn I love those cars.

R42 M Train Posted April 21, 2010 Share #33 Posted April 21, 2010 Great Pix!! Slants Also, what do you mean by R32 with R30 Blind end?
LRG Posted April 21, 2010 Share #34 Posted April 21, 2010 Great Pix!! Slants Also, what do you mean by R32 with R30 Blind end? Car no. 3381's no. 2 end has an R30 cap instead of it's normal front end. It got into an accident some years ago (don't know the year) which is why it doesn't have the grills like the normal R32's ends have.
SubwayGuy Posted April 21, 2010 Share #35 Posted April 21, 2010 BTW as an update, Slants did NOT come back into the museum...everything else is the way it was except that end of the platform on A1 is empty right now until something else is brought in. Stay tuned...
