Grand Concourse Posted April 20, 2010 Share #10 Posted April 20, 2010 Whoa momma, those seats look uncomfortable. 90 degree angle - ftl. Seats needs at least some slope because no one has a strait back. Also the seats should be reversed because the back support is too low and the seat looks too long. R32 3348 Posted April 20, 2010 Share #12 Posted April 20, 2010 the people standing up though, I can tell you had to have proper balance because the position of the stands and everything were just terrible, the seats were kind've comfortable, except for on the turns lol The poles are designed for holding on to when the seats are flipped up. That's why they are so close to the walls, because people can actually reach them when they are actually so near the wall when the seats are flipped up. bstar1 Posted April 20, 2010 Share #13 Posted April 20, 2010 When people are sitting down, how would the people standing up hold on the poles, when it's too close to the walls.
BroadwayBuffer Posted April 20, 2010 Share #14 Posted April 20, 2010 I haven't ridden these yet, but I wonder what they're like on the rush hour E trains. I believe the R-110Bs also had an issue with lack of reachable stanchions and this looks similar to that.

pr1nyc1 Posted April 20, 2010 Share #16 Posted April 20, 2010 These seats remind me of the seats from the R40S seats, those seats used to kill my rear end.
