Neil Feldman Posted April 20, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 20, 2010 This is inside M1 9299 while the set was laid up on Track 1 in Port Washington Yard which was a mix of the one end being 9337-8, 9299-9400, 9903-4, 9803-4 (M3 sets the later pair). The photo I took was that inside the 9299 which within 2 weeks that pair was retired, and scrapped, to me being a sad sight, but had this shot to take upon the night beginning to fall one late August night. Thanks to my friend who is now an LIRR engineer who was formerly a Coach Cleaner for letting me take this opportunity.

Neil Feldman Posted April 21, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted April 21, 2010 I've known them from being a kid, so yes they are really missed. M3's are the only best bet now!
