Did a small hike up Breakneck Ridge on Monday. Rock scrambles make it interesting.

On the way back to LI we stopped at Iona Island and caught one southbound CSX run...

Thanks error. That last photo is an ancient milepost from the New York Central Railroad days (hence the N.Y. inscription). In the background you can see the Darth Vader signal up; that signal only illuminates when a train is approaching...we saw the signal light up before we even heard the horn.

Joe, this was on monday right? I was on 9d, & 9 from the bear mountain bridge heading to wappinger falls. you need to ride with me one day and you need to take pics of the crazy scenery I see. ciao

Thanks L. The first and second shots here are my favorites; the second photo was cool to see through my own eyes...the train looked like a couple of ants moving along.
