EE Broadway Local Posted April 22, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2010 Link: http://www.onnyturf.com/subway/ OnNYTurf has not only taken the 26 subway lines and overlaid them under/over the streets/areas they run, they've done the PATH and HBLR lines, creating an interesting subway/transit map. In addition, they're also mapping the subway stations (not all are done yet), showing the access/exits and it looks like the platform areas. On the right side is a handy search feature that allows you to search for an address, business or subway, PATH or HBLR station.

Remember, it was created for tourists, not locals and transit buffs. Plus service hasn't really RADICALLY change yet from that map, so tourists can still use it (until June). Except for some station closures and re-openings, and a new transfer, service today resembles the one on the map. Only locals and buffs like us could tell the difference. MTR Admiralty Posted April 24, 2010 Share #7 Posted April 24, 2010 They also get loctations blatlently wrong. For example, 5th ave and 42nd street says "CUNY Grad School and university center" where the library should be. The CUNY Grad center does share space with the NYPL, but that's down on 34th street. LOL fail. But I guess few tourists would be looking for the CUNY Grad thing though.
