IRT Bronx Express Posted April 24, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 24, 2010 Approximately at 2:15PM, there was an accident on the downtown Bx41. A female driver at the intersection of Bedford Park BLVD ran a red light while the bus driver (when the light was at yellow) was close to reaching the bus stop. The van apparently hit the bus, and we all screamed! At this point, I feel bad for the bus operator and the passengers who witnessed this, including myself. Wow!!!:eek: Keep damaging KB buses:mad: It was an articulated bus #5701. The B/O had to park the bus in front of the bus stop and write down the main details. In the past, I could have said, it would just look like the rest of the KB fleet I just saw that bus earlier this week. Can the bus be repaired? I bet it can. I've seen the aftermath of a bus accident, in which the coach was hit, by someone running a stop sign, and caused the coach to go up on the sidewalk, and into 2 15 passenger vans, and two cars, knocking the 2 cars on the sidewalk, and moving the 2 vans. That bus was repaired. It was former Campus Coach MCI 102-DL3 267. We didn't think it could get fixed, but after about a month, it was back, but had a few problems after that.......
