TrainFanatic Posted April 29, 2010 Share #6 Posted April 29, 2010 I would'nt. You never know what it could be worth in the future. I would also just end up with big regrets. I received my two dollar bill in 2008 from a station booth person who gave it to me as change from a twenty dollar bill. Lucky me.

EE Broadway Local Posted April 30, 2010 Share #16 Posted April 30, 2010 I have two of these as laminated bookmarks which Borders sells at $1.99 each. Slightly smaller than the authentic $1000 note below they're a good reproduction (and an interesting bookmark):
East New York Posted April 30, 2010 Share #17 Posted April 30, 2010 I have several $2 bills, and I'm keeping all of them! My mom has a $1000 bill that she got from my dad years ago! http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:jdmZ3FJ-mKjf0M:http://usrarecurrency.com/WebPgFl/J00036709A/1934A$1000FRNSnJ00036709A.jpg
Messino Posted April 30, 2010 Share #18 Posted April 30, 2010 $2 bills are not worth anything above their face value, there are very few versions of the $2 that are collecters items and are actully worth something. They still produce $2 bills from time to time and there are still plenty in circulation that you can obtion.
Fresh Pond Posted April 30, 2010 Share #19 Posted April 30, 2010 They used to make bills in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1K, 5K, and 10K. The 500, 1K, 5K, & 10K bills were used for bank to bank transactions and pretty soon they were eliminated by the invention of the computer & electronic banking. The $2 bill is still made to this day but in very very small amounts. ...I learned this on my own in history class when I wasn't paying attention to the teacher
