Patrick Declares State Of Emergency BOSTON (WBZ) ― The MWRA says water service in communities east of Weston has been interrupted because of a break in a major water pipe. MWRA Executive Director Fred Laskey calls the break "catastrophic." Governor Deval Patrick and Mayor Tom Menino have declared State of Emergencies for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the City of Boston. A boil water order has been issued for drinking water for all MWRA communities east of Weston until further notice. This will take a long while to fix!
