Pablo M 201 Posted May 5, 2010 Share #2 Posted May 5, 2010 You can buy a SEPTA ticket straight through to Philly from NYP at the NJT TVM.

Pablo M 201 Posted May 5, 2010 Share #4 Posted May 5, 2010 Thanks for the info and is it a free transfer of $15.50 at umm Trenton from the NEC to R7? Yes. You would get two tickets for each way, one for the NJT train to Trenton, then one for the SEPTA R7 train to Center City Philadelphia. Buying a round trip you'll get four tickets in total. PATCOman Posted May 6, 2010 Share #8 Posted May 6, 2010 Yes. You would get two tickets for each way, one for the NJT train to Trenton, then one for the SEPTA R7 train to Center City Philadelphia. Buying a round trip you'll get four tickets in total. But in his plan, he is not going to take SEPTA back up to Trenton, so they are wasting that Phila-Trenton ticket. Paul P Posted May 6, 2010 Share #11 Posted May 6, 2010 Tickets?!? I thought we didn't need tickets? Or is it that priority line sneaky? The event itself is free, but they give you these passes in order to get down to the platform and tour the cars. Also, some might consider buying $10 Independence Passes in order to ride all of the SEPTA system. I wish I could go up to Philly, but I work...
Pablo M 201 Posted May 6, 2010 Share #12 Posted May 6, 2010 But in his plan, he is not going to take SEPTA back up to Trenton, so they are wasting that Phila-Trenton ticket. True. Theres no discounted round trip tickets anyway. They'll have to buy a round trip to Trenton anyways, then once at Trenton buy the ticket for the R7 or they can buy it at NYP by changing the origin. And no I'm not coming MegaBus, I have other obligations.

PATCOman Posted May 7, 2010 Share #15 Posted May 7, 2010 It is not really a "transfer" to/from SEPTA/NJT. The SEPTA fare is included with the NJT ticket to Philly. You just use first ticket on the NJT train then use the second one on the SEPTA train.
gregorygrice Posted May 7, 2010 Share #16 Posted May 7, 2010 I'm trying to figure out a Total price here:confused: I'm confused with the whole septa thing.
